During the week of March 17-24, a total of 72 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included five cases of battery and no aggravated assault.
Two cases of forgery, three cases of criminal trespass and 27 cases of larceny were reported.
