During the week of May 5 – 12, a total of 71 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included eight cases of battery and no aggravated assaults.
Two cases of forgery, nine cases of criminal trespass and 17 cases of larceny were reported.
