One homicide was among the crimes reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office during the week of April 20-26 that The Augusta Press is tracking for residents.

Those 251 crimes included the April 23 fatal shooting of 31-year-old Rodriquez Dunn on the 2100 block of B Street.

Other violent crimes reported included one armed robbery, one kidnapping, and a total of 70 assaults. The assaults reported included four aggravated assaults, and 33 cases of family violence battery.

Property crimes reported for the week included 16 burglaries, 20 vehicle break-ins, and 54 reports of property damages. There were 50 thefts, including three stolen vehicles in which the keys were left in the vehicle.
