During the week of Mar. 29 – Apr. 4 , a total of 197 crimes tracked by The Augusta Press were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Violent crime included two armed robberies, and a total of 66 assaults. 10 of those assaults were classified as aggravated assaults, and 26 were classified as family violence.

Property crimes included 12 burglaries, 45 cases of property damage, 16 vehicle break-ins, and 58 thefts.
