During the week of June 21-27, a total of 260 crimes tracked by The Augusta Press were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included a total of 74 assaults. Six of those were classified as aggravated assaults, and 31 as family violence.
Property crimes included 12 burglaries, 47 cases of property damage, and 81 cases of theft.
