During the week of June 7- 13, a total of 161 crimes tracked by The Augusta Press were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included three cases of terroristic threats and acts, and a total of 40 assaults. Six of those were classified as aggravated assaults, and 12 as family violence.
Property crimes included 19 burglaries, 26 cases of property damage, and 50 cases of theft.
