During the week of Apr. 26 – May 2, a total of 149 crimes tracked by The Augusta Press were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Violent crime included one armed robbery, and a total of 58 assaults. Seven of those assaults were classified as aggravated assaults.

Property crimes included 12 burglaries, 17 cases of property damage, and 24 thefts.
