During the week of Sept. 24 – Oct. , a total of 71 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included seven cases of battery and two aggravated assaults.
Three case of forgery, seven case of criminal trespass and 18 cases of larceny were reported
