During the week of March 9-15, there were a total of 206 crimes tracked by The Augusta Press that were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

During the week there were 62 assaults, six of which were classified as aggravated assault. There were 20 cases of family violence included in the total.
Property crimes included eight burglaries, 37 cases of property damages and 45 thefts.
