Its owner is Charles Terry, an experienced franchisee with 15 Popeye locations and a stint as the chicken restaurant chain’s director of operations, according to the release.

The new store will be along the bustling Horizon Parkway thoroughfare, neighboring Coldstone Creamery, McAlister’s Deli, Five Guys and Chick-Fil-A.

Troy and Nancy Akers, who recently opened Dink’d Pickleball in Martinez, launched a Crumbl franchise at the Mullins Colony shopping center in Evans in the spring of 2022. An Augusta location, Crumbl at Village Riverwatch, opened last summer.

The Grovetown store will host its grand opening on Friday, July 19 at its location at 285 Meridian Drive., Ste. 6B.
