East Central Regional Hospital-Augusta Campus, 3405 Mike Padgett Highway, Augusta received the lowest score of 75. Inspector’s comments included: “observed Airpod fall out of employee’s ear onto prep surface, employee put Airpod back into his ear and went on to cleaning the area” and “observed dead bugs around stove and on floor of food warehouse.”

Other inspector’s comments included: “observed mold in the icemaker,” “observed no sanitizer buckets in kitchen and serving area,” “observed sweet potatoes re-heated to 121F and about to be place on hot serving line,” and “observed salads and spreads without dates.”
The second lowest score was a 79, and it was received by A Town Wings, 3412 Mike Padgett Highway, Augusta. Inspector’s comments included: “observed no sanitizer test strips and were unable to explain how they sanitize dishes,” “observed TCS food in cold storage not being held at 41F or below,” “observed container in PTC with no date labels,” and “observed broken tiles near stove area.”
Road Runner Café, 2508 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta received an 80, the third lowest score. Inspector’s comments included: “observed employee rub nose and go back prepping food without washing hands” and “observed TCS food in RIC and WIC above the required 41F or below.”
