Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 500 block of Broad Street in reference to a shooting at 8:04 p.m. Friday.
The “located an adult subject that was shot at least one time. That subject was transported to the hospital for the treatment of their injuries. CID is on scene,” according to an email from Sgt. Kimberly Lee with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
“This investigation is active and no other information is available for release at this time,” the email said.
