Early voting for November election begins today

Early voting for the Nov. 5 election starts today, Tuesday, Oct. 15. 

Columbia County will have three early voting locations. They are:

  • Board of Elections office (Building G3), 610 Ronald Reagan Drive, Evans
  • Former Euchee Creek Library, 5907 Euchee Creek Drive, Grovetown
  • Columbia County Board of Education Support Complex, 4395 River Watch Parkway, Evans

Early voting, in Columbia County, will take place from Oct. 15 – Nov. 1. From Oct. 15 – 18 and Oct. 21-25, voting hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 19, early voting will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 26, early voting will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. From Oct. 28 – Nov. 1, early voting hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On Election Day, voters will go to their regular voting precincts. However, due to damage at Savannah Rapids Pavilion following the hurricane, that precinct has been moved to Stevens Creek Community Church, 600 Stevens Creek Road, Augusta.

In Augusta, early voting will be held at four locations:

  • The Linda W. Beazley Community Room at Augusta Municipal Building
  • Henry Brigham Community Center, 2463 Golden Camp Road
  • Robert Howard Community Center, 103 Diamond Lakes Way
  • Warren Road Recreation Center, 300 Warren Road

On Election Day, voters must go to their assigned polling places. Voters who formerly voted at Belle Terrace Presbyterian Church have been moved to the Brigham Center for Election Day voting.

Advance voting will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays, Oct. 19 and Oct. 26 at the four sites. Sunday voting will be held Oct. 27 in the Beazley Room only.
