Sunday at the Augusta National was full of drama as Scottie Scheffler put on a solid performance to win the Green Jacket at the 88th Masters Tournament.

All eyes started on the possibility of a return of Tiger Woods glory days, but he was virtually out of contention by Saturday.

There was also drama behind the scenes. Scheffler’s wife could have gone into labor with the couple’s first child. Scheffler had said that should that occur, he would leave the course and a possible win to be with his wife. This is his second win at Augusta; but regardless, it shows his character that he places fatherhood over any championship.

All-in-all, Masters 2024 was a historic year for the tournament, with Woods making the cut an astounding 24 consecutive years. Patrons were also treated to a show from the heavens as the solar eclipse was visible from the course.

Congratulations to Scottie Scheffler for adding a perfect ending to a perfect week!
