Columbia County is extending lane closures this week until Friday, March 28.
In cooperation with E.R. Snell, Columbia County is extending a temporary lane closure on Hardy McManus Road.
“The lane closure will be before the intersection of Fury’s Ferry Road and Hardy McManus Road,” according to a press release from Columbia County.
The lane closure began Thursday, March 13, and is being extended daily until Friday, March 28.
Weather permitting, construction will be taking place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
When approaching a work zone, Columbia County officials are asking drivers to slow down and allow extra distance between vehicles, while obeying road crew flaggers.
“If possible, please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting during this timeframe,” stated a press release from Columbia County.
