FBI agents executed a search warrant at the Assembly of Prayer Church on Old Tobacco Road the morning of June 23.
Richmond County Sheriff’s Office was there securing the perimeter during the raid but denies involvement in the actual investigation.
Neighbors of the church, who wish not to be named, said they have seen people coming and going from the building at all hours of the night but could not provide insight as to the reason for the search.
No arrest has been made as the FBI continues their investigation.
