The famous Final Cut warehouse announced on Friday that it was closing this summer after nine years of welcoming visitors from across the nation to sift through bins of clothes and rows of furniture and home decor for the best deals.
“Thank you to everyone who has come from near and far to shop our store,” Final Cut wrote in a message on its Facebook page.
The store on Fury’s Ferry Road said announcements on final promotions would come later. The store didn’t answer phone calls on Friday afternoon.
Final Cut had a cult following online because of its low prices on items from name brands like Anthropologie, Free People and Urban Outfitters. Bloggers from across the U.S. would road trip to Augusta and upload photos of their hauls from the store.
The store said it would share what’s next for the space on its social media pages at a late date.
