Wifesaver- North Leg, 1510 N. Leg Road, Augusta received a failing score of 66. Inspector’s comments included: “observed employees prepping foods with bare hands” and “observed expired food in walk-in cooler.”
Other inspector’s comments included: “observed food (turkey) stored on floor in freezer,” “observed food (fish) stored in walk-in cooler uncovered,” “observed no inspection posted in customer view,” and “observed mop stored to dry incorrectly.”

The second lowest score was a 78, and it was received by Texas Roadhouse, 107 Sherwood Drive, Augusta. Inspector’s comments included: “observed several employees drink cans scattered across kitchen food contact surfaces. Repeat violation,” “observed pickles, ham base, and soup base stored uncovered in RIC,” “observed hot dogs stored uncovered in RIC on grill prep line,” “observed area where meat is breaded with cake-up flour and blood from proteins,” “observed cooler for dispensing lettuce with brown build-up,” “observed cheese and tomatoes cold holding at 60 degrees F and 53 degrees F respectively,” and “observed several soiled wiping cloths left on food contact surfaces throughout the kitchen.”
Little Caesars, 1631 Gordon Highway, Augusta received an 81, which was the third lowest score. Inspector’s comments included: “observed handwashing sink blocked,” “observed no vomiting and diarrheal events cleanup kits or procedures,” “observed food (pizza sauce) stored on floor,” “observed previous inspection not posted,” “observed dishes stacked wet,” and “observed no drain plug in dumpster.”
