Former President Donald Trump to visit Columbia County

Former President Donald Trump will be in Columbia County on Friday, Oct. 4. 

He, along with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, will receive a briefing on how Columbia County is dealing with the effects of Hurricane Helene and then will deliver remarks to the press.

He will be speaking at 3:45 p.m. at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center in Evans. 

Trump’s visit follows Vice President Kamala’s Harris’ visit to Augusta on Wednesday, Oct. 2. This will be Kemp’s second visit to the CSRA this week. He visited the area on Monday, Sept. 30. 

There is no indication the visit will be open to the public or a rally.
