A Fort Gordon man has been killed in an overnight shooting inside a home in Richmond County, authorities said.
Allen White, 35, was fatally shot at a home on the 1200 block of Derby Lane near the county line between Richmond and Columbia counties. White was shot at least once and was pronounced dead about 4 a.m. Saturday, Coroner Mark Bowen said.
The residence is listed as Grovetown, but it is in the jurisdiction of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, which has not released any information on the shooting or possible suspects.
