Four Lakeside High students involved in altercation

An altercation between four students occurred at Lakeside High School on Thursday.

The Columbia County School District sent out a notification on Thursday around 1:08 p.m. stating the physical altercation occurred on campus in the hallway during class change.

There were no reported injuries.

Three students will face criminal charges, and all four will be held accountable according to the code of conduct.

The district statement regarding the incident said: “suspicious activity should immediately be reported to a teacher, school administrator, or the Columbia County School District Police.”
