The Georgia-Carolina Council, Scouting America, is proud to announce that four of its members — Reagan Plummer, Aaron Sansing, Jackson Musto and Matthew Nelson — have achieved the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in Scouting.

This remarkable achievement highlights their leadership, commitment to service and dedication to the values outlined in the Scout Oath and Law, according to a press release from the Georgia-Carolina Council of Scouting America.

The Eagle Scout rank is awarded to only about 6% of Scouts, making it a rare and prestigious accomplishment.

Each of these young men demonstrated exceptional perseverance and responsibility throughout their Scouting journey, earning numerous merit badges, providing leadership within their troop, and leading impactful community service projects, according to a press release from the Georgia-Carolina Council of Scouting America.

Aaron Sansing led a project that involved replacing the broken and worn-out pews in the Tabernacle at White Oak Campground, significantly enhancing the site for future visitors.

Meanwhile, Reagan Plummer organized an improvement project at Clark Park at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Evans, where he completed minor landscaping, brick laying and restored wood railings, along with adding picnic tables.

Jackson Musto took on the maintenance of seven tee boxes and the construction of four new tee boxes at the Nature and Adventure Center Disc Golf Course, improving the accessibility and quality of the facility.

Matthew Nelson spearheaded a project that extended the loading bay driveway at GAP Ministries in downtown Augusta, making food delivery to their pantry more efficient and streamlined.

Reagan, Aaron, Jackson and Matthew now join a distinguished group of over 3,500 Eagle Scouts from the Georgia-Carolina Council, a legacy dating back to its founding in 1920.

Their achievement stands as a testament to their hard work and the values instilled by the Boy Scouts of America, according to a press release from the Georgia-Carolina Council of Scouting America.
