Date: June 24, 2021

The Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia will be hosting two events in one day as a part of its effort to continue to deliver and maintain quality programming for girls, grades K-12 across Georgia.

S’morevivor 5K Trail Run and Team Challenge will take place Saturday, Sept. 11, at Camp Tanglewood, located at 4687 Columbia Rd., Martinez. The events will consist of a 3.1-mile trail run followed by a four-person team challenge testing outdoor skills such as canoeing, archery, s’more-making and more at stations throughout the camp.

Food trucks will be on-site for lunch, and the event will include a silent auction. Camp facilities will be open after the event for attendees to continue to enjoy use of the pool, gaga pit and other amenities.

This year’s S’morevivor event is a tribute to the military and first responders, although the event is open to everyone in the CSRA.
