The Greenbrier High School community gathered Sunday afternoon to send off the girls’ flag football team as it prepares to compete for a third consecutive state championship.

Students, staff, families, and supporters lined up in front of the school for the send-off event, cheering on the Wolfpack as players departed for Atlanta. The gathering celebrated the team’s postseason run and marked another milestone in a historic season for the program.

Greenbrier will face Jenkins High School in the GHSA girls flag football state championship on Monday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

The back-to-back defending champions enter the title game as one of the state’s most dominant teams, representing Greenbrier High School and the CSRA on one of Georgia’s biggest stages.
