COLUMBIA, SC: The rubber match between the Augusta GreenJackets (8-14) and Columbia Fireflies (13-9) at Segra Park was canceled due to weather and will not be made up as the two teams do not meet again during the 2022 season.
After a scoreless first three innings to start the ballgame, the matchup was sent into a weather delay in the bottom of the fourth due to rain and lightning in the area. After about a 90-minute delay, it was determined the game would not be able to continue and as a result, the game was canceled.
The GreenJackets will now return home to SRP Park to face the Myrtle Beach Pelicans starting on Tuesday night at 7:05 pm.

Saturday is Marvel Defender of the Diamond Night where the GreenJackets will where special Marvel Jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game to benefit Walton Options! In addition, there’s live pregame music from the Brand Band from 4:30-5:30 as part of the White Claw Pregame Concert Series with another Fireworks Extravaganza following the game! The homestand concludes with Princess and Villains night on Sunday where fans are encouraged to come dress as their favorite princess or villain!
