*North Augusta, SC* – The Augusta GreenJackets (Atlanta Braves) have postponed their Thursday, August 3rd game against the Columbia Fireflies (Kansas City Royals) due to inclement weather.
The game will be made up as a single-admission, seven-inning doubleheader scheduled for Saturday, August 5th, with first pitch in game one scheduled for 5:35 and gates opening at 4:30. Game two will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
The GreenJackets will wear special Marvel: Defenders of the Diamond jerseys, which will be auctioned off in person and online. Fans will also enjoy a postgame fireworks show after the conclusion of game two. Additionally, Braves ’23 first round pick Hurston Waldrep is scheduled to debut in one of the two games (subject to change).
Fans with tickets to Thursday’s postponed game can exchange their tickets at the SRP Park Box Office for any remaining non-fireworks game in the 2023 season. The GreenJackets and Fireflies will resume their series tomorrow, Friday, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05.
