Augusta National released its groupings and starting tee times Tuesday afternoon for Thursday’s first round of the 88th Masters Tournament — barring any inclement weather, of course.

According to weather.com, there’s a 90% chance that thunderstorms will move through the Augusta area in the morning, giving way to occasional showers in the afternoon. The forecast also gives a strong possibility for some of those storms to be severe.

If that happens, things will obviously change. But for now, Thursday’s first-round groupings and start times are set with some of the tournament’s major star power slated for mid-morning and mid-afternoon tee-offs.

Defending Masters champion Jon Rahm will tee off at 10:30 a.m. in a group with Matt Fitzpatrick and Nick Dunlap. At 10:42 a.m., 2022 Masters champion Scottie Scheffler will tee off with Rory Mcilroy and Xander Schauffele. At 10:54 a.m., Wyndham Clark, Viktor Holland and Cameron Smith will begin.

Tiger Woods, who faced reporters for the first time Tuesday morning, will tee off at 1:24 p.m. in a group with Jason Day and Max Homa. Dustin Johnson, Collin Morikawa and Tommy Fleetwood will follow at 2 p.m.

Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson will be Thursday’s honorary starters. That trio has a total of 11 Green Jackets between them.
