A Hephzibah man accused of endangering multiple people, including a Richmond County Sheriff’s Department investigator, in an alleged shooting spree in November was indicted Tuesday, Feb. 1.
The Richmond County grand jury returned an indictment against Jabari Williams, 20, charging him with 12 counts of aggravated assault as well as weapon violations and property damage.
Williams has been held in jail without bond since his Nov. 8, 2021 arrest. On that day, according to the indictment, Williams is accused of shooting an AK-47 at Investigator Sean Morrow and at a sheriff’s vehicle. He is accused of firing into a Deans Bridge Road apartment on Nov. 6, and shooting into an Amsterdam Drive home on Nov. 7.
