A convicted child molester has been indicted alongside the Hephzibah woman charged with making explicit videos of a 9-year-old child.

Robert Benjamin Annis, 37, and Emily Jo Anne Weathers, 27, were indicted in Richmond County Superior Court for 10 counts of sexual exploitation of children and one count of child molestation.

According to the indictment and prior reports, photos, photo collages and videos created by the pair and distributed online showed the same child in various exploitative poses. The images were created between February 2021 and September 2023.

According to state records, Annis served approximately six years in prison on a 2013 McDuffie County child molestation conviction. He was not registered as a sex offender in Richmond County, but was registered at a Warren County address.

Also indicted by a Richmond County Grand Jury Dec. 6 were:

Bernard Correy Freeman, 16, for the June 28 murder of William David Wolf

Dontavious Shareef Smith, 17, for July 12 murder of Jabari Webb and 14 other counts including violating the street gang terrorism act
