The South Carolina High School League (SCHL) football playoffs began Friday, Nov. 7. Here are the results from round 1:
- North Augusta, 44 vs Midland Valley, 6
- Wagener-Salley, 14 vs Dixie, 9
- South Aiken, 24 vs Hilton Head Island, 52
- Silver Bluff, 39 vs North Charleston, 12
- Strom Thurmond, 49 vs Chesterfield, 0
- Ridge Spring-Monetta, 0 vs Ware Shoals, 38
The winners will move on to round 2 of the SCHL playoffs on Nov. 14.
Georgia teams in the GHSA playoffs
Eight Georgia teams from the CSRA will compete in round 1 of the 2025 Georgia High School Association on Friday, Nov. 14. The round 1 match-ups are:
- Lincoln County vs Randolph-Clay
- Harlem vs Heritage-Ringgold
- Richmond Academy vs Stephenson
- Westside vs Long County
- Thomson vs Jackson
- Burke County vs Sonoraville
- Laney vs Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe
- Aquinas vs Darlington
