The body found floating in the lake at Big Hart Campground near the dock at Russell Landing is that of a Warrenton, Ga., man, officials say.
Michael Alan Cole, 92, was discovered shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 27 by a member of the public, according to McDuffie County Coroner Paul Johnson.
Johnson declined to elaborate further on the possible manner of death or how long the body may have been in the water.
