The holiday season is upon us, and that means gatherings with food — lots of food.

Does the thought of entertaining during the holidays make you break out in hives?

Vera Stewart comes to the rescue with charcuterie ideas in this week’s episode of “The Very Vera Show” which airs at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 on WJBF-TV News Channel 6.

She’ll show simple recipes that will transform into amazing charcuterie presentations.

Not only will she give ideas on how to spend less time in the kitchen and get to actually be a guest at your own party, but she’ll provide a few other tips about three different board formats as well.

She’ll give the steps to making a chalkboard map of how to construct a charcuterie board. So simple a first grader can do it.
