The John Deere Foundation has recently awarded $225,000 to the Augusta/CSRA Habitat for Humanity. This grant will be awarded in three parts with payments of $75,000 in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
This money will go towards Habitat for Humanity’s goal of providing safe, affordable housing for local families in need. This donation will help them start more initiatives within the community.

“We are deeply grateful to the John Deere Foundation for their generous grant and for entrusting us with these vital funds,” said Bernadette Fortune, chief executive officer for the Augusta/CSRA Habitat for Humanity. “It will enable us to launch initiatives that educate the community on the importance of housing advocacy, equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools to support and drive positive change.”
Habitat for Humanity looks forward to the positive impact this grant will have on improving lives through providing safe and affordable housing.

Habitat for Humanity has been helping individuals find safe and affordable housing since 1976, and they have now helped over 6.8 million people towards this goal.
