KAMO Facilities Solutions & Supplies (KAMO) Company presented University Healthcare Foundation with a $20,000 donation today.
University Healthcare Foundation’s President and Vice President for Community Services Laurie Ott, and the Board Chair and Leadership accepted the donation on behalf of the health care system.
University Healthcare has partnered with KAMO Facility Solutions and Supplies for more than 15 years. Harris Weinstein, KAMO president, said the decision to support University Hospital as an easy one.
“University Hospital is an essential healthcare facility in the heart of downtown Augusta. During this past year,” Weinstein said. “The partnership both ways is critical to maintain the health and wellbeing of all CSRA’s residents.”
Ott said her organization was thankful for the gift.
“University is very thankful for KAMO’s support in the midst of caring for the
community in this Covid pandemic,” Ott said. “Gifts like these not only strengthen our resolve
but also make it possible for us to support our teams of caregivers and provide the
best possible care to our patients.”
