There will be an extension to the Furys Ferry Road lane closure.
The closure will be at the intersection of Furys Ferry Road and Sullivan Hartfield Road. It will be from Thursday, Feb. 22 to Monday, Feb. 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The lane closure is related to the road-widening project of Furys Ferry Road.
Drivers should expect delays, plan for additional time during commuting, and seek alternate routes if possible. When driving through the work zone, drivers should slow down, allow extra space between vehicles, watch for advanced warning signs, obey road crew flaggers, and expect the unexpected.
