Lane closures scheduled for Columbia County

Lanes will be closed in Columbia County.

There will be a temporary lane closure in Columbia County. 

A lane will be closed on Furys Ferry Road between North Belair Road and Hardy McManus Road from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, April 22 through May 3. This is due to the roadway-widening project on Furys Ferry Road. 

There will be temporary lane closures on Faircloth Drive and Government Center Way due to paving. The closures are scheduled to take place Monday, April 22 to Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., weather permitting.

A temporary road closures will take place on Oakley Pirkle Road due to paving. The work is scheduled activities will take place from  Monday, April 22 to Friday, April 26 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. as long as the weather is permitting.

Driver should expect delays and seek an alternate route. When driving through the work zone, they should slow down, allow extra distance between cars, watch for advanced warning signs, obey road crew flaggers, and expect the unexpected.
