A volunteer firefighter who worked with the Langley Fire Department is accused of assaulting a patient after answering a 911 call to her Warrenville residence, authorities said.
Jeremy Gray was suspended from the department after the allegations surfaced and dismissed after his arrest July 19 for assault & battery in the second degree, a fire official said.
The victim told Aiken County authorities that she called for EMS on July 5 and Gray responded. While there, he “began to rub her vagina,” a report says. She kicked him off the property.
“He returned after EMS and other first responders left and began to masturbate in her kitchen,” a sheriff’s report says.
She asked him to leave again, but he found her phone number before leaving and began texting her. A sheriff’s report included the content of the text message, but it was redacted by the sheriff’s office before it was released.
“Victim stated that Gray is continually doing things of this nature and she fears for her own physical safety and mental health,” the report says.
Gray has since been released from the Aiken County Detention Center. A Facebook page has photos of himself in Langley Fire Department gear as well as shirts labeled “EMT.”
In 2006, Gray was arrested by Richmond County authorities for impersonating a police officer, illegal blue light and improper use of horn.
He was only convicted of the blue light offense and a judge gave him 12 months of probation and fines, according to online records.
