Le Chat Noir is hosting Three Ingredient Cocktails Hands-on workshop on Saturday, Jan. 21.
Alcohol connoisseur and Bar Manager Zach McCabe will be the instructor. He will demonstrate each drink and then each guest will mix one following his recipes. Guests will learn the basics of balancing and building a cocktail, as well as how to take Le Chat Noir’s templates and use them at home.
The purpose of this workshop is to show patrons that they do not need a full-fledged bar at home or to be professionals to enjoy the drinks they love.
Guests will have their own “mini bar” with utensils set up as McCabe shows them how to enjoy their favorite drinks from behind the main bar. Afterwards, guests can take home their recipe cards with instructions and tips as well as enjoy discounted bar drinks after the course.
“As long as it tastes good, you’re doing it right,” said bar owner Krys Bailey.
The workshop will be at Le Chat Noir at 304 8th St. from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
