Dear Editor,

It only makes sense! As former Mayor Deke Copenhaver recently and succinctly wrote “… the one member of our governing body voted on at large by the entirety of our city [should have] a full and equal vote on all items coming before the Augusta-Richmond County Commission.” Community leadership is all about building an even brighter future for the place we call home, implementing the greater good, and making us all proud of who we are – together!  When it comes to supporting this commonsense initiative – count me in – I’m voting YES!
