Letter to the editor: Voter Registration Status

Have you checked your voter registration status lately? It is a good idea to check periodically.

The Georgia Secretary of State Office has announced they will be doing a statewide list maintenance removal of over 190,000 voters across the state. Letters will be mailed to each voter being removed. The voter has 30 days to respond, or their registration will be canceled.

Please take a moment now to check your voter registration – https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/ – even if you have voted or registered to vote recently. If your status says anything other “Active”,  immediately contact your County Elections Office at
