Hundreds of Lincoln County residents packed the Lincoln County courthouse grounds Friday night for a community pep rally celebrating the Red Devils’ football team run to the state championship game.

Many families filled the area dressed in red and black, creating a very energetic atmosphere as the town came together to support its football team. The event began with a tailgate followed by a pep rally to celebrate the successful season of Lincoln County and their trip to the state championship game.

The Red Devils made a dramatic entrance as the team bus arrived under a police and fire truck escort. With lights flashing, the escort led the players to the courthouse as the crowd cheered while the team took the stage.

Former Red Devils players and alumni delivered speeches and encouraged the current roster to embrace the moment. Speakers emphasized pride, discipline, and the responsibility of representing the community on the state’s biggest stage.

The team also received a special video message from former star Georgia running back and Lincoln County native Garrison Hearst. Hearst, one of the program’s most accomplished alumni, shared words of encouragement to the team.

“Let’s make history. Lets go get it, have a good time, and play hard,” Hearst said in his video message.

The Red Devils will now turn their attention to the state championship game, carrying the full support of their hometown with them.
