A man is accused of raping a woman in Grovetown after the pair spent a night drinking and smoking drugs with friends.
Anh Tuan Tran, 24, was charged May 9 with rape.
Grovetown police said Tran and his friends went to Twin Peaks the night of May 7 to have drinks. The female victim, age 22, went with them. Back at home, the group drank some more and smoked marijuana together before going to sleep.
During the night, Tran allegedly woke up, went into the room where the woman was sleeping and engaged in sexual intercourse with her twice while she was under the influence and unable to give consent. The rape took place early on the morning of May 8.
Police arrested Tran the following day.
