Haussan Donte Clary, 22, was taken into custody Friday and charged with four counts of aggravated assault after allegedly shooting at a vehicle that had three children inside.

On Tuesday, June 14, Richmond County Deputy Mallissa Seth responded to the 2000 block of Lumpkin Road in regard to an aggravated assault.

Upon her arrival, Seth spoke with Samantha Jones, who said she was driving her vehicle on I-520 eastbound at Wrightsboro Road when an unknown person fired three shots at her car, according to the incident report.

Jones told the deputy that the other driver was traveling behind her at first, before pulling up beside her vehicle, yelling for her to pull over.

When Jones refused to pull over, the man allegedly pulled out a gun and fired three shots at her car, according to Jones’ statement.

The mother said she then drove to her home on Lumpkin Road where she spent approximately 30 minutes trying to comfort her children before contacting Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
