The second lowest score of the week was also a score of 78 given to a Dairy Queen, located at 3149 Washington Road, in Augusta.

The inspector noted observing employees not properly washing hands while prepping food, which resulted in a nine point reduction.

“Observed employee put on gloves without washing hands. Observed employee touch their face with gloves on and prep food with same gloves,” the report stated. “Wash hands before glove usage. Wash hands and change gloves after touching face and body parts.”

During the inspection, the inspector also deducted four points for noticing an unclean ice machine.

Following the Dairy Queen inspection, the third lowest score of the week was an 80 given to the Stratford Subdivision, located at 1328 Aylesbury Drive, in Evans.

Throughout the inspection, the inspector reported an improperly functioning gate to the subdivision’s pool, which resulted in a 15 point reduction.
