Middle schooler facing criminal charges after physical altercation

A Harlem Middle School student is facing criminal charges after a physical altercation that occurred on Monday. 

The school sent out a notification to parents at 2:31 p.m. on Monday afternoon, notifying them about a physical altercation between two eighth grade students which resulted in one student sustaining injuries to the face. 

The altercation took place in a school restroom with four other students present. 

One student is facing criminal charges and will also be held accountable according to the code of conduct, per the notification.
