It turns out the recruiting prophets were correct. According to 247Sports, it was “100%” predicted that Midland Valley running back Traevon Dunbar would commit to West Virginia.
Wednesday afternoon, during an Instagram Live video, confirmed that prediction by committing to West Virginia. Dunbar rushed for over 3,000 yards and 42 touchdowns during his high school career. His record-breaking senior campaign helped the Mustangs to a 12-1 record, Region championship and quarterfinals finish in the SCHSL state playoffs.
The 5-foot-10, 200-pound tailback is a 3-star prospect. Check back to theaugustapress.com for more on Dunbar’s commitment.
