On Sunday, Jan. 29, the Miller Theater will host “Letters From Home” as stop number two on their 50-state tour.
Letters From Home will bring back the style of the USO with a high-energy performance featuring Erinn Dearth and Dan Beckmann, according to a press release. This duo has performed at the 75th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France. The show is filled with singing, tap dancing, knee-slapping jokes and audience interaction that make up a spectacular performance geared towards uniting the nation through music.
“Audiences will become involved in the show as well and it will be a truly unique theatrical experience that is really appropriate and enjoyable for all ages and generations,” said founder and choreographer Erinn Dearth.

“Letters From Home” was started by Erinn Dearth at the suggestion of her late father, Pat Dearth, a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Since that time, the group has performed more 900 shows in venues big and small across the United States, according to the press release.
“I grew up without a lot of exposure to the military,” Beckmann said, “so I really took those who served for granted — which in its own strange way is a freedom and privilege granted by those same people. But once I joined “Letters From Home” and started immersing myself in the veteran communities, I was granted real insight into the sacrifices so many made. I am proud to be a member of Letters From Home, and grateful for the gift of perspective it has granted me. I hope it can do the same for others like me,” said group member Dan Beckmann.
