Evans’ growth continues to boom as Mirin Fusion announces an opening in the new retail development Evans Society Center behind the Columbia County Performing Arts Center.
The Asian fusion restaurant at 925 Ronald Reagan Drive said its soft opening started Saturday, and it would be closed on Tuesday to make more food.
The new location is larger than its original location on Crane Creek Drive by Sprouts Farmers Market.
“We really appreciate all the love and support in the first three days!” the restaurant posted on its Facebook page on Tuesday.
The restaurant said it will post the menu and hours for the new location after its grand opening.
Evans Society Center will also house Southern Time Clothing, Elements Massage and Goat Kick Coffee Company.
The original Mirin off of Walton Way Extension opened in October 2020 and offers items like spring rolls, gyoza, spicy wonton, boba tea, ramen, hibachi, fried rice and stir-fried noodles.
One of the restaurant’s specialty dishes is its cheesy beef fries, featuring waffle fries with Korean BBQ beef on top with siracha sauce and scallions.
