Chipotle Evans is about to open, the Mexican restaurant chain announced.
The new location at 710 Province Way, near its competitor in Mullins Crossing, Diablo’s Southwest Grill, will open its doors Thursday morning, Aug. 22, at 10:45.
The franchise, the first in Columbia County, will have the “Chipotlane,” its signature drive-thru concept.
Construction at the site began earlier this year, with the Newport Beach, Calif.-based chain confirming its plans to open in Columbia County in January.
The restaurant will join its fellow CSRA locations in the Augusta Exchange, on Robert C. Daniel Parkway, and on Martintown Road in North Augusta.
