Multiple shooting suspects on the run in Richmond County

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating three individuals wanted in connection to separate aggravated assault investigations.

All three suspects – Darryl Jenkins, James Sullivan and Calvin Philpot – are considered armed and dangerous, and citizens are urged not to approach them if encountered.

Darryl “DJ” Jenkins, 17, is wanted for aggravated assault in reference to a shooting that occurred on Saturday along the 3600 block of Alene Circle. Jenkins is described as a Black male, 5’7″ tall, weighing 198 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent Meadowbrook Drive, Goldfinch Drive, and the 3300 block of Deans Bridge Road. Anyone with information regarding Jenkins’ whereabouts is urged to contact Investigator Evan Carter at 706-821-1451, or any on-duty Violent Crimes Investigator at 706-821-1020 or 706-821-1080.

James Christopher Sullivan is wanted for aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in connection to a shooting that occurred on Friday at 1814 Fayetteville Drive, located in the Azalea Park Apartments. Sullivan is 5’11” tall, weighs 175 pounds, and is known to frequent Jennings Homes and the Azalea Park Apartments area. Anyone with information about Sullivan should contact Investigator Charlie Walker at 706-821-1258 or the on-call investigator at 706-821-1080.

Calvin C. Philpot Jr., also known as “CJ,” is wanted for aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime following a shooting that occurred on May 19 on the 2500 block of Lyman Street. Philpot is described as 5’9″ tall and weighing approximately 115 pounds. He is known to frequent the CK Mart at 2852 Deans Bridge Road. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Philpot’s whereabouts is asked to contact Investigator Charlie Walker or any on-call investigator with the RCSO at 706-821-1258 or 706-821-1080.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public: do not approach these individuals. Call authorities immediately if you have any information.
